It is a family-run homestay, not a hotel. The hosts live on the ground floor; the entire first floor — a private 1BHK — is yours. The experience is more personal and relaxed than a hotel; the welcome is warmer; the room service is your own kitchen.

Is the apartment private?

Yes. You have exclusive access to the whole first floor — bedroom, living, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. The hosts stay separately on the ground floor.

Is there a caretaker on-site through my stay?

Not a dedicated one. The hosts are usually around on the ground floor and are happy to help — call, knock, or WhatsApp — but the upper floor is left to you to enjoy in peace.

The apartment comfortably sleeps 2–4 guests. A fifth guest can stay with an additional mattress on request. Beyond five, it begins to feel cramped — we'd rather you know that than be disappointed.

Rural and agricultural — mango groves, narrow lanes, quiet evenings. The setting is part of the charm, but it isn't a manicured resort: expect seasonal mosquitoes, the occasional power cut, and a narrow access road. Worth it for the silence.

How do we reach Miraki Casa from Mumbai?

Take the M2M or Maldar catamaran from the Gateway of India to Mandwa Jetty (≈ 50 minutes). From the jetty, the villa is about 3 km — roughly a 10-minute auto-rickshaw ride.

Is the property walkable from Mandwa Jetty?

Not comfortably, especially with luggage. We recommend an auto from the jetty. The lanes are narrow and not pedestrian-friendly.

Auto fares are typically ₹200–₹250 from the jetty to the property. Confirm the price with the driver before you set off.

Are Uber and Ola available?

Generally not. Auto-rickshaws are the standard mode of local transport. We can share contact numbers of drivers other guests have used; arrangements and fare are directly between you and them.

The kitchen is fully functional — gas stove, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and utensils. Salt, sugar, tea, coffee, oil and basic condiments are provided. We ask that you wash your utensils after cooking; the next guest thanks you.
